Laser Genesis is an amazingly versatile treatment that we offer at Gold Coast Dermatology Clinic.
It is completely painless, with no significant downtime following the procedure, whilst providing your skin with an immediate glow.
The treatment uses micro pulses of either 1064 nm (traditional genesis) or 532 (green genesis) laser wavelengths to gently heat the epidermis and dermis resulting in an increase collagen production which can be seen in your skin as
increased collagen and elastin - leads to a smoother, plumper skin
decreased pore size
improved texture
improved radiance
decrease redness
Patients have laser genesis as part of a regular skin maintenance plan, but they also have it when preparing for an event or in combination with other services. It is used to treat post-laser redness as well as to settle inflammation associated with acne and rosacea.
A series of treatments is recommended at 3 - 4 weekly intervals.

The Laser Genesis feels like warm sun rays moving over your face. There is no flicking or burning sensation that you might experience with other lasers. Your face will be a glowing pink afterwards and this will settle over the course of a few hours

Avoid sun exposure and wear suncream when you are outdoors, but other than that you can carry on as normal and use your recommended skin care routine. Your skin will be glowing and party ready the day after your treatment
