Cutera Enlighten III Laser

Gently breaking down unwanted skin pigmentation for all skin types.

PICO Cutera Enlighten III Laser machine at Gold Coast Dermatology Clinic.

The Cutera Enlighten III laser is one of the most exciting advanced lasers, that utilises Picosecond technology.

It has three colour wavelengths, (532 nm, 670 nm, and 1064 nm)  which gives it the ability to treat a range of cosmetic skin concerns.

It is designed to break down unwanted pigmentation and tattoo ink particles, but it can do it safely in all skin types including skin of colour, with high precision and minimal thermal damage.

What Can It Treat?

  • Benign pigmented lesions — sun spots, freckles, age spots, melasma, and uneven pigmentation.

  • Tattoo removal — including multi-coloured ink, with reduced sessions compared with older lasers.

  • Skin rejuvenation — improving skin tone, texture, and clarity.

  • Acne scarring and texture irregularities through dermal stimulation.

How Does It Work?

The laser delivers ultra-short pulses of energy that target pigment or tattoo ink buried in the skin. The energy breaks these particles into smaller fragments, which the body’s natural processes then remove over time. This photomechanical effect minimises heat damage to surrounding tissue compared with traditional lasers.
